In Superman's Girl Friend Lois Lane #53 from 1964 Lois despises him for being a "glory-hunter looking for publicity" and a "conceited show-off" among other things. She says: "His cheap tricks don't impress me! Anybody could do super-deeds if they had super-powers! And there's never any risk for him, either. He's invulnerable."

At a charity picnic Superman charges $1 for each Super kiss and ladies come in droves, creating a huge line, buying not one but ten tickets for themselves, haha! (Who wouldn't, really?) Does Lois join in the smooching? Hell, no!

You see, this was before Lois Lane fell in love with Superman.
